JAMSHEDPUR – RPF officials apprehended two passengers carrying festival-related precious metals at Tatanagar station during heightened election security measures.

The RPF personnel noticed suspicious behavior from two travelers arriving on the Gitanjali Express from Howrah.

Meanwhile, authorities immediately informed the District Election Department about the detention.

In addition, security forces discovered various religious items including Lakshmi-Ganesh coins and silver utensils.

Moreover, a substantial amount of cash was found during the search operation.

Furthermore, a local goldsmith was summoned to evaluate the seized items.

However, the suspects allegedly planned to sell these items during the upcoming Diwali festivities.

On the other hand, stringent monitoring continues at key locations due to the upcoming assembly elections.

Meanwhile, officials are maintaining silence as investigations proceed.
