JAMSHEDPUR – Jamshedpur police arrested two men in separate cases within 24 hours, including a drug bust and a murder case.
City SP announced the arrest of Raja Singh alias Tarini Singh, aged 20, during a patrol in Mango. Police found 19 packets of brown sugar, ₹5,000 cash, and a bike on him.
In another case, a special team led by DSP Jamshedpur was formed to investigate a body found in Mango Daiguttu Forest on the night of October 22. The team identified the victim as Futteh Azam, a resident of Kapali Gausnagar. The accused, Pratap Prasad alias Lalla Sutar, was arrested from his Daiguttu residence.
According to police, the murder occurred due to a financial dispute. The accused has been sent to jail following his confession. Both arrests were made swiftly, showcasing the efficiency of the police under the City SP’s supervision.
