JAMSHEDPUR – Congress candidate Banna Gupta officially filed his nomination for the Jamshedpur West Assembly seat, supported by a large group of party workers.
Gupta, accompanied by drums and cheers from hundreds of Congress supporters, submitted his nomination for the upcoming election.
Afterwards, he addressed a rally at Sakchi, where he outlined his key campaign promises.

He pledged to complete several major infrastructure projects, including the construction of a new MGM Hospital in Dimna and the expansion of the existing MGM Hospital in Sakchi.
Gupta also highlighted his focus on women’s empowerment, specifically through the “Maiya Yojana,” aiming to connect women to employment opportunities.
Speaking to the media, he emphasized that his goal is to finish what he started during his previous term.
Criticizing his opponent Saryu Roy from the NDA, Gupta accused Roy of taking advantage of his position when he was a BJP minister, while now opposing the same party.
He asserted that the public is well aware of Roy’s actions and would reject him in this election.
