JAMSHEDPUR – A brazen theft from a car belonging to a Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industry executive has been captured on CCTV, sparking concern among local business leaders.

The incident occurred on Wednesday morning outside the SCCI building in Bistupur.

Footage shows an individual surveying Akash Modi’s car before smashing its window.

Moreover, the thief made off with a laptop bag, cash, and important documents from the vehicle.

Upon discovering the break-in, Modi promptly informed SCCI president Vijay Anand Moonka.

Consequently, Moonka reported the incident to local law enforcement without delay.

Furthermore, police are now scrutinizing the CCTV footage to identify and locate the suspect.

The theft has raised eyebrows, given the area’s regular police patrols.

Meanwhile, business community members have expressed growing unease about security in the vicinity.

A local shop owner remarked, "This incident highlights the need for increased vigilance in our commercial areas."

On the other hand, police officials assure that they are taking the matter seriously.
