RANCHI – Jharkhand’s Chief Electoral Officer K Ravi Kumar unveils nomination process for upcoming assembly elections.
The nomination period for 43 seats opens on October 18.
Moreover, candidates can submit their papers until October 25 between 11 am and 3 pm.
Strict guidelines have been set for the nomination process.
Furthermore, only three vehicles are allowed within 100 meters of the nomination site.
"Candidates must adhere to all Election Commission rules," Kumar emphasized.
Additionally, a security deposit of Rs 10,000 is mandatory for general candidates.
However, SC/ST candidates are required to deposit Rs 5,000.
Candidates must also open a separate bank account for election expenses.
On the other hand, criminal records must be advertised in newspapers and on social media.
The state will witness a two-phase election on November 13 and 20.
In conclusion, results will be declared on November 23, shaping Jharkhand’s political future.
