JAMSHEDPUR – Loyola School organizes a crucial workshop to educate staff on child safety laws and creating secure environments for students.
A one-day workshop on child protection was held for Loyola School support staff.
The event took place at both Telco and Bistupur campuses of Loyola School.
Chandana Bose from CACA group, Kolkata, led the workshop as the resource person.
She emphasized the importance of the POCSO Act and Juvenile Justice Act.
Moreover, Bose stressed the need for creating safe environments for children in schools.
The workshop focused on increasing awareness about children’s rights and safety.

In 2019, the POCSO law was amended to include stricter punishments for offenders.
On the other hand, the Juvenile Justice Act focuses on reforming underage offenders.
