JAMSHEDPUR – Steel Strips Wheels Company in Govindpur has agreed to a 9.5% bonus for its employees, boosting festive spirits.

The agreement was reached between management and the Jharkhand Janshakti Mazdoor Union on Friday night.

Permanent employees will receive bonuses ranging from ₹21,000 to ₹46,000.

Meanwhile, temporary contract workers will be awarded an 8.33% bonus.

The company plans to credit the bonus amounts to workers’ accounts by Monday or Tuesday.

More than 200 employees are set to benefit from this agreement.

Plant Head Vineet Agarwal signed the agreement on behalf of the management.

On the other hand, union representatives, including President Anand Bihari Dubey, participated in negotiations.

The timely agreement ensures workers will receive their bonuses before Diwali celebrations.

This move is expected to boost employee morale and strengthen labor relations.

Furthermore, the bonus announcement comes as a welcome financial support for workers.

The differentiated bonus structure acknowledges the contributions of both permanent and temporary staff.

Industry observers note this agreement as a positive sign for the manufacturing sector in Jamshedpur.

The successful negotiation demonstrates effective dialogue between management and labor unions.
