• Demands include 8.33% bonus and timely wage disbursement

• HR accused of misconduct and rejecting workers’ requests

JAMSHEDPUR – Contract workers at Kross Limited Company staged a protest, demanding improved compensation and fair treatment.

Around 70 contract employees from Unit 4 of Kross Limited Company blocked the company gate on Saturday.

The workers presented a memorandum outlining their grievances.

They demanded an 8.33% bonus, which was reportedly rejected by the HR department.

Moreover, the protesters accused HR manager Vinod Arya of misconduct.

According to the workers, they were told to leave if they wanted a bonus.

The memorandum also highlighted issues with wage rates and payment schedules.

Specifically, the company allegedly failed to pay wages at government-mandated rates.

In addition, salaries were not disbursed on time, causing financial strain for the workers.

The protesting employees expressed frustration over unfulfilled promises.

They claimed the company had committed to a pay hike last year.

However, this promise remained unmet, despite the workers’ continued dedication.

Nevertheless, the employees had persevered, hoping for positive changes.

On the other hand, the company’s response to these allegations remains unclear.
