JAMSHEDPUR – District Magistrate Ananya Mittal marked International Senior Citizens Day with a visit to Baradwari’s Old Age Home, recognizing elderly voters and assessing resident care.

The District Magistrate interacted with the elderly residents during the visit.

Moreover, he took the opportunity to inspect their living conditions firsthand.

Mittal felicitated senior voters, acknowledging their role in the democratic process.

Furthermore, he encouraged the elderly to continue exercising their right to vote.

The DC enquired about the residents’ possession of voter ID cards.

This initiative aimed to ensure full participation in the upcoming Assembly elections.

"Our elders’ contribution to democracy is invaluable," Mittal emphasized.

He urged young people to draw inspiration from senior citizens’ electoral participation.

Deputy Election Officer Priyanka Singh accompanied the District Magistrate during the visit.
