Corona claims 4 more lives in Jharkhand on Monday, total deaths 928

166 new infection cases, 360 discharged, active cases now 2,754

Ranchi: Coronavirus has claimed 4 more lives in Jharkhand on Monday. With this, the total death toll for the state has now reached 928.

According to official data, on Monday, 166 new cases of coronavirus infection were also detected in different districts of the state. The total number of infections till Monday in the state has now reached 1,06,260.

According to health department data, the state has tested 38,07,997 samples till date. Out of these, 1,02,548 patients have been cured and discharged from hospitals and home quarantine.

For now, the state has 2,754 active cases of coronavirus infection. The number of active cases in the state is coming down slowly. However, the deaths remain a concern for the state, although even deaths have come down as far as daily average is concerned.

According to official data, on Monday itself 360 patients were also cured and discharged, while 4 persons succumbed to the virus.
