Festival Special Train to Link Gorakhpur and Tatanagar

Service to run on October 17 and 19, with return trips on 18 and 20

JAMSHEDPUR – A Festival Special train is set to enhance connectivity between Gorakhpur and Tatanagar during the upcoming festive season.

The special train service, numbered 05012/05011, will operate on select dates in October.

Moreover, Train 05012 will depart from Gorakhpur at 7:00 PM on October 17 and 19.

The journey will conclude at Tatanagar at 12:50 PM the following day.

In addition, the return service, Train 05011, will leave Tatanagar on October 18 and 20.

Passengers can board this train at 2:00 PM from Tatanagar station.

Furthermore, the return journey will reach Gorakhpur at 6:30 AM the next morning.

Meanwhile, the train will make stops at Purulia and Joychandi Pahar stations.

These halts fall within the South Eastern Railway (SER) jurisdiction.

"This special service aims to accommodate increased travel demand during festivals," a railway official stated.

However, passengers are advised to check the exact schedule before planning their journey.

On the other hand, the introduction of this service is expected to benefit numerous travelers.

The Festival Special train provides a convenient option for those visiting family during the holidays.
