Two Books by Jamshedpur Poetess Savita Singh ‘Meera’ Launched

JAMSHEDPUR – Two books by renowned poetess Savita Singh ‘Meera,’ "Man Ki Kahi" (Prose Collection) and "Gullak" (Poetry Collection), were launched at a grand event held at Tulsi Bhavan’s Prayag Hall.

The event, organized by the Singhbhum District Hindi Literature Conference, was presided over by Tulsi Bhavan trustee Arun Kumar Tiwari, while Dr. Veena Pandey ‘Bharti,’ Vice President of the Literature Committee, conducted the program.

Veteran Hindi writer Amar Nath from Lucknow graced the occasion as the chief guest, while senior journalist Sanjay Mishra (Editor – Prabhat Khabar), Sudhir Mishra (Ranchi), and Tulsi Bhavan trustee Murlidhar Kedia were special guests.

The event began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp and a Saraswati Vandana presented by Vasant Jamshedpuri.

Honorary Secretary Prasanjit Tiwari delivered the welcome address, followed by a reader’s review of the newly launched books presented by Pratibha Prasad.

Mrs. Nivedita Srivastava introduced the author, and the event concluded with a vote of thanks from Vice President of Tulsi Bhavan, Ram Nandan Prasad.

Several notable literary figures attended the event, including Dr. Yamuna Tiwari ‘Vyathit,’ Dr. Ajay Kumar Ojha, Ashok Pathak Snehi, Suresh Chandra Jha, Madhavi Upadhyay, and many others.

The event celebrated both the literary contributions of Savita Singh ‘Meera’ and the rich tradition of Hindi literature in the region.
