JAMSHEDPUR – A local student’s exceptional performance in state-level badminton competitions has earned him a coveted spot in the national tournament.

Suraj Pratap Singh, an Inter student from Abdul Bari Memorial College, has achieved a remarkable feat.

He has been selected for the Nationals in the School Games Federation of India (SGFI) Open Selection Badminton Competition.

This accomplishment falls under the Khelo Jharkhand initiative.

Singh’s selection comes on the heels of his outstanding performance in state competitions.

He clinched the State Champion title in Under-17 Singles and Doubles categories.

Moreover, Singh also secured the top position in the Under-19 Singles category.
