Tata Steel Launches Evening Diploma Course for Employees

New program aims to enhance skills and career opportunities

JAMSHEDPUR – Tata Steel has introduced an evening diploma course for its permanent employees across all plants and locations.

The program targets workers in mechanical, electrical, and metallurgical fields.

Moreover, it covers both manufacturing plants and mining locations.

Classes are scheduled from Monday to Saturday evenings.

Furthermore, the course combines in-person training and online modules.

Some content will be delivered through e-learning platforms.

Eligible employees must meet specific educational and experience requirements.

Applicants should have passed matriculation with English, Science, and Maths.

Additionally, qualifications like NAC, Train Apprentice, or ITI are accepted.

The age limit for applicants is set at 45 years.

On the other hand, non-NAC and non-TJTS employees need four years in a permanent role.

The course aims to provide qualifications equivalent to engineering diplomas.

Meanwhile, it enhances promotion opportunities for participants.

Applications can be submitted online until October 5, with an exam on October 14.
