JAMSHEDPUR – A literary event commemorating Ramdhari Singh Dinkar’s birth anniversary and book launch was held at Tulsi Bhavan by the multilingual literary organization Sahyog.

The program began with the chief guest lighting the ceremonial lamp.

Nivedita Shrivastava highlighted Dinkar’s timeless literary contributions during her address.

She emphasized the importance of reading Dinkar’s "Sanskriti Ke Char Adhyay" for literature enthusiasts.

Meanwhile, Dr. Shakuntala Pathak launched Dr. Asha Shrivastava’s new book at the event.

Dr. Pathak stressed that literature involves both writing and feeling emotions.

Moreover, Chhaya Prasad welcomed guests with a melodious song performance.

Professor Pamela Ghosh Datta from DVBM College discussed Dr. Shrivastava’s latest novel.

She described the book as a heartfelt tribute to the author’s mother.

In addition, Dr. Shrivastava reflected on her 25-year literary journey.

She acknowledged the support of mentors like Father Camil Bulcke and Nirmal Milind.

Furthermore, the event honored senior Sahyog member Brijendra Nath Mishra for his literary contributions.

Dr. Anita Sharma, a recipient of the President’s Award, skillfully conducted the program.

On the other hand, Dr. Juhi Samarpita shared anecdotes about Dinkar’s life and philosophy.

She emphasized the need for literature to guide politics in today’s world.

Vidya Tiwari, the secretary, delivered the vote of thanks to conclude the event.

Notable literary figures from Jamshedpur attended the celebration, fostering a vibrant cultural atmosphere.
