• SSP highlights cyber fraud, human trafficking as major concerns

JAMSHEDPUR – Local police addressed 135 public grievances at an event held at Michael John Auditorium on Friday, promising swift action.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kishor Kaushal and City-cum-Rural SP Rishabh Garg assured attendees of prompt action on their complaints.
The event saw participation from both urban and rural residents who had previously lodged complaints at local police stations without resolution.
SSP Kaushal emphasized the need for public awareness, stating that such grievance redressal programs are being organized across all districts as per the Chief Minister and DGP’s directives.
"Future events will be held at the police station and DSP levels," Kaushal added.
He informed that a complaint cell has been established at the SSP office to facilitate both online and offline grievance filing.
Addressing major concerns, Kaushal said, "Cyber fraud, human trafficking, and traffic rule violations are our top priorities."
He urged parents to prevent minors from driving and encouraged helmet use for personal safety rather than fear of police action.
SP Rishabh Garg assured resolution of public grievances, with all urban and rural DSPs and station in-charges present at the event.
Cyber Crime Success
A cyber police officer revealed significant progress in combating online fraud.
"We’ve returned Rs 1.30 crore to victims in the past six months by promptly freezing fraudulent transactions," the officer stated.
