Key Points:

• BJP’s ‘Parivartan Yatra’ to commence on September 20 in Jharkhand

• Campaign to cover 5,400 km, spanning all 81 assembly constituencies

• Marandi alleges corruption and mismanagement by current government

RANCHI – The Bharatiya Janata Party in Jharkhand has unveiled plans for an extensive ‘Parivartan Yatra’, aiming to address key issues and rally for change across the state.

Babulal Marandi, former chief minister and BJP leader, announced the upcoming campaign.

The yatra is scheduled to begin on September 20, traversing all six organizational divisions.

Moreover, this ambitious journey will cover a substantial distance of 5,400 kilometers.

Marandi outlined the yatra’s itinerary, which includes visits to over 200 blocks.

Additionally, the campaign will feature 80 welcome events and 65 public rallies.

The BJP leader expects participation from more than 50 national and state-level party figures.

Furthermore, the yatra will conclude on October 3, having covered all assembly constituencies.

Meanwhile, Marandi expressed concerns about the current state government’s performance.

He alleged that Chief Minister Hemant Soren’s administration has tarnished Jharkhand’s reputation.

The BJP leader claimed widespread corruption and exploitation under the present leadership.

Moreover, Marandi accused the government of misusing central welfare schemes.

He highlighted alleged illegal land acquisitions and financial irregularities in the state.

The former chief minister also raised concerns about demographic changes in certain regions.

According to Marandi, these issues have significantly impacted Jharkhand’s development.

"The once-proud identity of our state has been severely compromised," a local BJP worker remarked.

However, the ruling party has yet to respond to these allegations.

Nevertheless, the announcement of this yatra has intensified political activities statewide.

On the other hand, some observers view the campaign as a strategic move ahead of elections.

A political analyst noted, "This yatra could significantly influence Jharkhand’s political landscape."
