JAMSHEDPUR – DBMS College of Education commemorated Hindi Diwas with a vibrant cultural program showcasing the language’s rich heritage.

The event began with lamp lighting by dignitaries.

Chief guest Anjani Nidhi delivered an inspiring speech on Hindi’s significance.

"Hindi is spoken and taught in 20 countries worldwide," Nidhi remarked.

He emphasized the need to embrace Hindi beyond the day’s celebrations.

Principal Dr. Juhi Samarpita expressed concern over India’s lack of a national language.

Students presented a literary tableau directed by Pamela Ghosh Dutta.

A local language enthusiast commented, "Such events are crucial for preserving our linguistic heritage."

The program featured short plays and dance performances by students.

Anuj Prasad directed an adaptation of "Bade Bhai Sahab," evoking childhood memories.

Dance performances addressed pressing issues like violence against women.

Priya Boypai and Bibiana Tidu won first place for stage decoration.

Soma De and Binita Kumari Hansda excelled in the literary tableau presentation.

Dr. Monika Uppal, Literary Club in-charge, organized the event.

Faculty members contributed significantly to the program’s success.

The celebration aimed to instill pride in Hindi among students.

DBMS College management provided full support for the Hindi Diwas celebration.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Poonam Kumari.
