JAMSHEDPUR – Parents staged a protest at Rajendra Vidyalaya after 79 students from classes 10 and 12 were declared failed.
The agitated parents gathered at the school, expressing their outrage over the results.
They claimed that the students were failed by just 3-4 marks and that 95% of class 12 physics students had failed.
Parents accused the school of mismanagement, alleging that commerce teachers were teaching chemistry, with no proper supervision by the administration.
They demanded that all failed students be promoted and given the opportunity to appear for the board exams.
Additionally, parents highlighted that weaker students were crammed into a single classroom, receiving subpar education.
Concerns were also raised about the absence of a permanent principal for the past year, leading to a lack of proper oversight.
In response, the acting principal stated that the promotion of students to the next class was done under the orders of the SDO.
However, they noted that these students are failing again.
A parent remarked, "It’s unfair to the students; they deserve better teaching and a fair chance."
The situation at the school remains tense as parents continue to demand justice for their children.
