XLRI Jamshedpur to bid farewell to 552 students at 68th Convocation
N Chandrasekaran, Chairman of Tata Sons, to be honored with Sir Jehangir Ghandy Medal
Xavier School of Management, Jamshedpur is set to host its 68th Annual Convocation on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at the Football Ground, XLRI Campus. The institute will bid farewell to 552 graduating students from various programs, including Postgraduate Programmes in Business Management, Human Resource Management, and Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Venture Creation, as well as the Fellow Programme in Management.
JAMSHEDPUR – Mr. N Chandrasekaran, Chairman of Tata Sons, will grace the event as the Chief Guest. "His leadership style encompasses ethical governance, a nation-centric vision, and an unwavering dedication to societal progress and individual enrichment," the institute stated in a press release.
In recognition of his exemplary leadership and commitment to prioritizing national interests and societal progress, XLRI will present Mr. Chandrasekaran with the prestigious Sir Jehangir Ghandy Medal for Industrial & Social Peace.

XLRI celebrates 75 years of excellence
The 68th Annual Convocation holds special significance as XLRI marks its 75th year of excellence in management education. The institute has been at the forefront of producing leaders who have made significant contributions to the corporate world and society at large.
Diverse graduating batch
The graduating batch of 552 students represents a diverse group of individuals from various programs offered by XLRI. Among them, 209 students are from the Postgraduate Programme in Business Management, 176 from the Postgraduate Programme in Human Resource Management, 113 from the 15-month PGDM (General Management) Programme, 14 from the Fellow Programme in Management, and 40 from the Postgraduate Diploma in Management (Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Venture Creation).
