Tatanagar Station Restricts Access for PM Modi’s Visit

PM’s Arrival Prompts Temporary Closure of Main Gate, Parcel Service Suspension

Key Points:

• Tatanagar station limits entry for PM Modi’s visit on Sept 15

• Parcel service temporarily halted due to security measures

• Passengers directed to use specific entry points and platforms

JAMSHEDPUR – Tatanagar railway station implements stringent security measures for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s upcoming visit, affecting normal operations and passenger movement.

The railway authorities have announced a temporary suspension of parcel services at Tatanagar station.

This decision comes in light of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s impending visit on September 15.

Meanwhile, access to the station will be significantly restricted during the Prime Minister’s presence.

The main gate will remain closed, redirecting all foot traffic to the second entrance.

In addition, passengers will not be allowed to use platform one or enter through the main gate.

However, travelers can still reach platforms two through five using an alternative route.

The stairs near the GRP police station will serve as the designated access point for these platforms.

On the other hand, the closure of the main gate may cause some inconvenience to regular commuters.

Moreover, the temporary halt of parcel services could affect local businesses relying on rail transport.

In contrast, these measures are deemed necessary to ensure the Prime Minister’s safety during his visit.

Besides, the railway authorities urge passengers to cooperate with the new arrangements.
