Seraikela police have initiated a Beat Patrolling service in Adityapur to strengthen crime control efforts, with plans to expand if successful.
SERAIKELA – The Seraikela police have launched a new Beat Patrolling service in Adityapur, starting Monday, aimed at curbing crime in the region.
SP Mukesh Kumar Lunayat officially flagged off the patrolling units, emphasizing that the area has been divided into 8 beats.
Each beat will be overseen by a sub-inspector, whose contact information will be shared with the public for swift response to incidents or complaints.
SP Lunayat described this as a pilot project that could be expanded to other police stations in the district if proven successful.
The event was attended by SDPO Santosh Kumar Mishra, Station In-Charge Nitin Kumar Singh, and other police personnel.
The initiative is part of a broader effort to maintain regular vigilance in the Adityapur area.
