Krishna Janmashtami Celebrated at R.V.S. Academy Jamshedpur
Pre-Primary students portray Krishna’s life in vibrant dance-drama
R.V.S. Academy on Dimna Road, Mango, transforms into Vrindavan for a spiritually enriching Krishna Janmashtami celebration.
JAMSHEDPUR – R.V.S. Academy on Dimna Road, Mango, celebrated Krishna Janmashtami with a vibrant event featuring Pre-Primary students dressed as Krishna and Radha.
The school premises were transformed into a lively Vrindavan for the occasion.
A beautifully decorated Krishna swing with Bal Gopal served as the centerpiece, symbolizing the divine aura of the celebration.
Chairman Binda Singh inaugurated the event by lighting the lamp and praised the students’ and teachers’ efforts.
"The dedication and creativity shown by our young learners today is truly commendable," remarked Singh.
He emphasized that the celebration was not just for fun but also an opportunity to instill Lord Krishna’s teachings and values in the children.
The highlight of the day was a captivating dance-drama performed by Pre-Primary students.
The performance portrayed key episodes from Lord Krishna’s life, including his miraculous birth and triumph over King Kansa.
Students also sang devotional songs like "Bada Natkhat Hai Yeh Kishan Kanhaiya" and reenacted Krishna’s playful "Makhan Chori" and Raas Leela.
Principal Visha Mohindra, Vice Principal Anita Tiwari, teachers, and students attended the event.
In her address, Mohindra emphasized the importance of cultural festivals in schools for preserving heritage and promoting unity and devotion among students.
The celebration reflected the school’s commitment to cultural education and community spirit.
