Uncontrolled Trailer Causes Fatal Accident Near Seraikela Kolabira Underpass

Woman succumbs to injuries at TMH, husband critically injured after their bike is hit by an uncontrolled trailer.

A woman named Kajol Mandal succumbed to her injuries at TMH after being involved in a severe accident near Kolabira underpass on the Saraikela-Kandra road on Thursday evening.

SERAIKELA – On Thursday evening, a tragic accident occurred near the Kolabira underpass on the Saraikela-Kandra road. Kajol Mandal, a woman, passed away as a result of the grievous injuries she sustained in the collision.

Dharmendra Mandal, her spouse, continues to be in critical condition at TMH.

The couple, who were from Kharsawan Gangodih, sustained grievous injuries when they were struck by an uncontrolled trailer while riding a bicycle.

Kajol Mandal was declared deceased during treatment at TMH, following an ambulance ride to the facility by local residents.

Near the Kolabira bridge, a trailer bearing the registration number JH05DH-7896 collided with the couple’s bicycle.

The incident occurred while Dharmendra Mandal, 28, was traveling to Gamharia with his wife.

The frequent accidents were attributed to the poor condition of the road by the outraged locals, who claimed that the fatal crash was a direct consequence of the deteriorating road conditions.

The trailer has been confiscated by the authorities; however, the driver has managed to escape the location.

Additionally, it has been reported that the deceased mother is survived by a one-year-old son.
