Thousands of Jamshedpur BJP Workers Stopped on Way to Ranchi Rally

Police halt vehicles of Jamshedpur BJP workers heading to Ranchi rally, leading to traffic jams.

Jamshedpur police halted several buses and vehicles of BJP workers en route to Ranchi for the proposed ‘Yuva Akrosh Rally.’

JAMSHEDPUR – BJP workers from Jamshedpur were stopped by police at various checkpoints while heading to Ranchi for the ‘Yuva Akrosh Rally.’

The vehicles were stopped every 100 to 200 meters for inspection, causing significant traffic congestion.

Earlier, buses carrying BJP workers were forcefully halted at the Marine Drive Bridge by the administration.

This led to a confrontation between BJP leaders Shivshankar Singh, Abhay Singh, and Nandji Prasad with the police.

The situation escalated, leading to chaos and arguments.

Jamshedpur District President Sudhanshu Ojha questioned the police’s actions but received no clear answers.

Ojha warned the administration that if all buses were not allowed to proceed, BJP workers would stage a protest on the route of Chief Minister Hemant Soren’s visit to Jamshedpur.

Angry BJP workers shouted slogans against the Hemant government and the administration.

Further along the route, at various points including Chouka and Tamar police stations, large trucks were stopped, blocking the buses carrying BJP workers.

Ojha accused the Hemant government of being frightened by the rally, stating that the administration was harassing them under the guise of vehicle checks.

He emphasized that no amount of force could suppress the youth’s movement.

Ojha also remarked that the government often uses the police when it feels threatened, and declared that the BJP’s protest would continue until the Hemant government is ousted.
