Election Officials Trained for Upcoming Assembly Polls in Jamshedpur

Sector Officers and Police briefed on crucial roles to ensure fair elections

Comprehensive training program held at Michael John Auditorium prepares officials for upcoming assembly elections in Jamshedpur.

JAMSHEDPUR – District Election Officer Ananya Mittal and SSP Kishore Kaushal led a vital training session for Sector Officers and Police at Michael John Auditorium.

The training program, conducted in two shifts, covered officials from six constituencies in Jamshedpur and surrounding areas.

Sector Officers received instructions on various aspects of election management, including polling station accessibility and EVM operations.

The importance of vulnerability mapping and addressing voter intimidation was emphasized during the session.

SSP Kishore Kaushal detailed the significance of physical verification of access roads and maintaining a secure voting environment.

Officials were urged to prevent any actions that could potentially hinder voters’ rights.

The first shift of the training focused on constituencies 44-Baharagora, 45-Ghatshila, and 46-Potka.

Constituencies 47-Jugsalai, 48-Jamshedpur East, and 49-Jamshedpur West were covered in the second shift.

Rural cum City SP Rishabh Garg, Deputy Election Officer Priyanka Singh, and Executive Magistrate Mrityunjay Kumar attended the training session.

The comprehensive program aimed to ensure a free, transparent, and fair election process in the upcoming assembly polls.
