DBMS Kadma High School celebrated the 78th Independence Day with a flag hoisting by Mrs. Anita Ramakrishna, followed by cultural performances by students.

JAMSHEDPUR – DBMS Kadma High School, Jamshedpur, celebrated the 78th Independence Day on August 15, 2024, with great enthusiasm and patriotic zeal.

The ceremony began with Mrs. Anita Ramakrishna, Secretary of the school managing committee, hoisting the tricolour flag, symbolizing the unity and pride of the nation.

She was joined by members of the managing committee, the Principal, Vice Principals, and other dignitaries from various DBMS units.

Following the flag hoisting, Mrs. Ramakrishna paid tribute to the nation’s freedom fighters, urging students to uphold the values of peace and unity.

The celebration continued with the singing of the National Anthem, which was followed by a series of patriotic performances, including a moving song and speeches by students.

A notable moment was the participation of a student from Lilliput, whose contribution added a special touch to the event.

School-Wide Participation

Students from classes VI to XII actively participated in the program, demonstrating their love and respect for the country.

The event was attended by notable members of the school community, including Ms. Bhavna Krishnan (Treasurer), Ms. Aruna Ravi (Joint Treasurer), and Ms. Gurpreet Bhambra (Principal).

They were accompanied by Ms. Suparna Roy and Ms. S. Shireen (Vice Principals) and several teachers, who all played a key role in the successful execution of the event.

The day’s activities were designed to inspire a sense of national pride and unity among the students, leaving a lasting impact on all those present.
