Graduate College in Jamshedpur Celebrates Sawan Festival with Enthusiasm

Sawan Mahotsav was celebrated with great joy; former Professor in-charge Dr. Shakuntala Pathak graced the event as the chief guest.

Graduate College celebrated the Sawan Mahotsav with great enthusiasm, featuring cultural performances by students.

JAMSHEDPUR – Graduate College witnessed a vibrant celebration of Sawan Mahotsav, marked by cultural performances and traditional rituals.

The event began with the lighting of the lamp and the singing of the college anthem.

Former Professor in-charge Dr. Shakuntala Pathak was the chief guest, welcomed by the Principal with a traditional cloth and a plant.

The event saw the presence of esteemed guests like Dr. Ragini Bhushan, Dr. Nirmala Shukla, Professor Aarti Singh, and Professor Ranjana Datta.

Dr. Archana Sinha hosted the event, while Professor Pratima Sinha extended the vote of thanks.

The Cultural Committee’s Coordinator, Dr. Arundhati De, along with other members, played a significant role in organizing the event.

Students like Priyanka Rakhit, Shreya Ghosh, Sunaina, and Anjali Kumari enthralled the audience with Kajri songs and a Radha Krishna dance by Anu and Vidhi.

Other performances included a Shiva Stuti by Sneha Bhattacharya, a group dance by NSS students Anisha, Geeta, Ichha, and Arpita, and a mesmerizing Rajasthani folk dance by Kumkum, Bani, Heber Mishra, and Manisha.

The event was attended by all the college teachers and a large number of students.
