Over 60 participants from various sectors attend the 3-day program on gender-sensitive budgeting.
The 3-day training program on Gender Budgeting commenced today at XITE Gamharia, attracting more than 60 participants from different villages, government offices, Self-Help Groups (SHGs), and the college’s economics students.
JAMSHEDPUR – The Gender Budgeting training program kicked off at XITE Gamharia, with an impressive turnout of participants eager to deepen their understanding of gender-sensitive budgeting and its role in community development.
The program was inaugurated by Aparna Singh, Assistant Commissioner of Commercial Taxes, and Dr. Shubhra Dwivedy, Chief Executive of SEEDS, who served as special guests for the event.
The opening day featured insightful sessions led by a distinguished panel of experts, including Dr. Shubhra Dwivedy and Prof. Akinchan Xaxa.
Other notable attendees included Naval Narayan Choudhary, Prof. Dr. Sanchita Ghosh Chowdhury, Prof. Dr. Rajesh Rana, Ashish Singh, Y. Dilip Kumar, Prof. Dr. (Fr.) E. A. Francis, SJ, and Prof. Dr. (Fr.) Mukti Clarence, SJ.
The experts provided participants with valuable knowledge and practical strategies for implementing gender budgeting in their respective areas.
