BJP MP Laxmikant Bajpai Warns Jharkhand Officials Against Bias

BJP’s State in-charge accuses officials of working under pressure for a particular party, urges them to follow Election Commission guidelines or face consequences.

BJP MP and Jharkhand state in-charge Laxmikant Bajpai has given a stern message to government officials in the state, accusing them of working under pressure for a particular party and urging them to follow the instructions of the Election Commission, regardless of their political affiliations.

JAMSHEDPUR – Laxmikant Bajpai, BJP MP and state in-charge for Jharkhand, has come down heavily on government officials in the state, accusing them of working under pressure for a particular party.

In a strong message to the officials, Bajpai warned that if they do not improve their conduct in time, they will have to face problems in the coming days.

He emphasized that everyone, whether from the ruling party or the opposition, must follow the instructions of the Election Commission.

Bajpai is currently on a tour of the Kolhan region, holding meetings with assembly-level workers to devise strategies for ensuring the victory of the party’s candidates.

As part of this tour, he held a meeting with Seraikela Assembly level workers in Adityapur on Sunday, conducting opinion polls to gauge the support for the party’s candidate and providing necessary guidelines.

Responding to media queries about the BJP being called a "washing machine party," Bajpai dismissed the allegation as wrong.

He clarified that while the party welcomes people from other parties, it will not support them if there are any cases against them or if allegations are proven.

Meanwhile, senior Congress leader Suresh Dhari targeted the BJP, stating that the party’s basket is filled with "rotten mangoes" and that it is filled with corrupt people.

Dhari accused the BJP of absolving the corrupt individuals accompanying them of their guilt, highlighting the difference between the party’s words and actions, which he believes the public has understood.

The war of words between the BJP and the Congress comes amid the ongoing election season in Jharkhand, with both parties vying for public support and targeting each other’s credibility.
