New Ekta Club to Organize 20th Blood Donation Camp on Independence Day

New Ekta Club to host its 20th blood donation camp on August 15, alongside free health check-ups and cultural programs.

New Ekta Club will celebrate Independence Day by organizing its 20th annual blood donation camp on August 15, 2024, at Rishi Bhavan, Jugsalai, with a target of collecting 500 units of blood.

JAMSHEDPUR – In observance of Independence Day, New Ekta Club will hold its 20th annual blood donation camp on August 15, 2024, at Rishi Bhavan, Jugsalai.

The club has also planned a free health check-up camp as part of the event.

To ensure the success of the camp, a meeting was held at the community hall in Bagbera, led by Sunil Mukherjee, head of the Volunteer Blood Donor Association (VBDA).

During the meeting, Mukherjee emphasized the life-saving importance of blood donation, urging people to overcome any misconceptions and participate actively.

He shared insights on how donating blood not only benefits the recipient but also promotes the donor’s physical health.

Club officials set a goal of collecting 500 units of blood during the camp.

In addition to the blood donation and health check-up camps, the club has organized a series of events, including a drawing competition for school children on August 14 and patriotic songs and cultural programs on August 15.

A free dental and eye check-up camp will also be held, with renowned doctors from Jamshedpur in attendance.

The event details were shared by club members Brij Kishore Barnwal, Mahesh Sahu, Dheeraj Sawa, Devendra Singh Rikku, Vinod Kumar Barnwal, Ritesh Jain, Vinod Sahu, Virendra Sahu, Jitendra Barnwal, Sanjay Varnwal, and Sunil Sahu.

The organizers have urged the community to come forward in large numbers to donate blood and contribute to the cause.
