Jamshedpur: The executive committee meeting of multilingual literary organization ‘Sahyog’ was held in Jamshedpur on Sunday. The upcoming activities, annual programs and financial plans of the organization were discussed in detail in the meeting.
It was decided in the meeting that documents related to all the programs organized by the organization will be maintained and preserved in a systematic manner. Brief reports, receipts related to expenditure and photographs of the program will be attached in the file of each program, so that transparency and systematic record management can be ensured.
The executive also decided that the annual budget session of the organization will start from the month of April every year. Also, after the General Body Meeting, the files of all the programs will be updated and compiled systematically.
The detailed outline of literary and cultural programs to be organized throughout the year was also decided in the meeting. Saint Kabir’s birth anniversary will be celebrated in the last week of June as part of a series of programs in which his life and thoughts will be discussed. Premchand Jayanti will be organized in July, while a Sawan Milan program based on the theme of ‘Barhamasa’ will be organized in the last week of August.
Similarly, Dinkar Jayanti will be organized in September, Vijay Milan in October, Book Fair in November and Annual Vanbhoj in January. Apart from this, it was decided to organize Nirala Jayanti on the occasion of Vasant Panchami and Holi Milan celebrations in March.
The officials of the organization expressed confidence that these programs will give new energy to the literary and cultural activities in the city and will ensure wide participation of literature lovers and social thinkers.
President of the organization Dr. Sandhya Sinha, Executive President Dr. Juhi Pradita, Secretary Dr. Bharti Kumari, Joint Secretary Dr. Manila, Legal Advisors Mamta Singh and Jaipal Singh, Treasurer Pushpanjali Mishra along with Madhuri Mishra, Jyotsna Asthana, Sudha Goyal, Lakshmi Singh ‘Ruby’, Reena Sinha and Dr. Sabita Paul were present in the meeting. All the members actively expressed their views on various topics.
