Manipuri Folk, Tabla Solo, Chhau, Kathak Blend Tradition with Modernity

Kadma Kalakari Auditorium Hosts Diverse Cultural Treats from Across India

JAMSHEDPUR – Artistes from all over the country showed their skills on the stage at Kadma Auditorium. The Art Fest was organized by Sangeet Natak Academy and DBMS Trust and it mesmerized the audience with the repertoire of skills that the artistes showed.

On the last day of the art festival, the folk artists of Manipur under the leadership of N Tiken Singh gave such a captivating presentation by incorporating modernity with their traditional instruments that people were mesmerized.

After this, Ravindra Yavagai, who came from Bengaluru, played solo tabla.

Bhuman Kumar, who came from Purulia, touched everyone’s heart by presenting Chhau dance in Purulia style.

In the end, famous Kathak dancer Shama Bhate, who came from Mumbai, presented Kathak and won everyone’s heart with her style.

With this the four-day art festival came to an end.

For the last few days, artists from all over the country have been attracting everyone’s attention with their performances in the Kalakari Auditorium of Kadma.

Sangeet Natak Akademi and DBMS Trust jointly organized an art fest in which many renowned artists showcased their talent in musical instruments and dance-songs.
