LJP Unveils New Jamshedpur Mahanagar Committee
Party appoints Ravi Chaurasia as president, forms Mahila Mahanagar Samiti
The Lok Janshakti Party announces new leadership for its Jamshedpur city unit during a ceremony at Baradwari in Sakchi.
JAMSHEDPUR – The Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) introduced its new Jamshedpur Mahanagar Committee during a meet-and-welcome event, with Ravi Chaurasia appointed as the mahanagar president.
Jharkhand LJP state president Virendra Pradhan approved the appointments at the gathering.
The newly formed committee includes Mahendra Kumar Srivastava as secretary and Shahid Rizwan, Parvinder Paswan, Vijay Tiwari, and Amit Tiwari as vice-presidents.
Manoj Sharma was named joint secretary, while Ashok Karmakar and Anirudh Singh took on the roles of treasurer and co-treasurer, respectively.
Somnath Goswami will serve as the press spokesperson for the committee.
The party also established a Mahila Mahanagar Samiti, with Asha Devi at the helm as president.
Ranjana Kumari, Gudiya, and Madhumita were appointed vice-presidents of the women’s committee.
Several other positions were filled, including executive committee members and additional roles within the party structure.
State press spokesperson Umesh Tiwari and Kolhan in-charge Pritam Kaur attended the event, showing support for the new committee.
East Singhbhum district president Brijmohan Singh was also present at the ceremony.
The formation of this new committee aims to strengthen the LJP’s presence in Jamshedpur.
"This restructuring will help us better serve the people of Jamshedpur and address their concerns," stated a party spokesperson.
The event at Baradwari in Sakchi marked a significant step in the party’s local organizational efforts.
LJP leaders expressed confidence that the new team would work diligently to expand the party’s influence in the region.
