BOKARO – In a daring theft, jewelry worth lakhs was stolen from a shop near Telidih Mod, Pindrajora, Bokaro.
The incident occurred on Saturday night, when thieves broke into Shri Gold Jewelry after the shop owner, Basu Gop, had closed for the day.
Taking advantage of the bad weather, the thieves broke the shop’s grill and made off with three kilograms of silver jewelry worth approximately ₹3 lakh.
The entire incident was caught on the shop’s CCTV cameras, and the police are currently using the footage to identify the thieves.
While the thieves managed to steal a significant amount of jewelry, the shop’s inner locker remained untouched.
The police have refrained from commenting further on the case as the investigation is ongoing.
This brazen act has left the local community on edge, with many questioning the security measures in place.
