Hemant Soren Vows to Fight Injustice on 49th Birthday

CM shares prisoner’s mark photo, symbolizing challenges to democracy

Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren pledges to combat societal oppression and injustice on his 49th birthday.

RANCHI – Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren marked his 49th birthday with a resolute commitment to fight against injustice and oppression in society.

Soren shared a photo on social media platform X, showcasing the prisoner’s mark on his hand from his recent jail release.

The Chief Minister described this mark as a symbol of the current challenges facing democracy in India.

When an elected chief minister can be put in jail for 150 days without any proof, complaint or crime, then what will they do with the common tribals, dalits, oppressed people?” Soren questioned in his post.

Soren was released from Birsa Munda Jail in Ranchi on June 28 after receiving bail in a money laundering case.

The Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) executive president expressed his determination to fight for the rights of exploited, deprived, and marginalized communities.

He emphasized the need to build a society with equal laws and no misuse of power.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended birthday wishes to Soren, praying for his long and healthy life.

Opposition leader Rahul Gandhi greeted Soren, vowing that the INDIA bloc will fight for the rights of the poor, deprived, and tribals.

Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge also wished Soren, highlighting the INDIA bloc’s commitment to social justice and inclusive development.

Soren acknowledged that the path ahead would not be easy but expressed confidence in overcoming challenges through unity.
