South Eastern Railway’s Chakradharpur Division Development Leads to Train Adjustments

South Eastern Railway announces train cancellations and rescheduling due to Chakradharpur Division works.

JAMSHEDPUR – The South Eastern Railway has issued a notification regarding the regulation of train services in the Chakradharpur Division.

This comes as a part of the ongoing developmental work in the area.

The 18109 Tatanagar – Itwari Express will be cancelled on 29th November 2023.

Similarly, its return service, the 18110 Itwari – Tatanagar Express, will not operate on 1st December 2023.

The 08168/08167 Jharsuguda-Rourkela-Jharsuguda MEMU Special also faces cancellation on 29th November 2023.

In addition to these cancellations, the 08107 Rourkela – Jagdalpur Express will see a rescheduling.

This train is now set to depart from Rourkela at 19.05 hrs instead of the usual 18.05 hrs on the same date, 29th November 2023.

The Chakradharpur Division, a vital part of the South Eastern Railway zone, regularly undergoes maintenance and upgrade works to enhance safety and service quality.

The railway officials said that these adjustments are part of the railway’s commitment to ensuring the safety and efficiency of its operations.

Passengers are advised to check the latest train schedules and plan their journeys accordingly.

Railway officials have assured that these measures are temporary and aimed at improving the overall travel experience in the long term.
