HC directs vigilance after Bangladesh coup, IB to submit sealed report.

A Public Interest Litigation (PIL) concerning Bangladeshi infiltration and land encroachment in Jharkhand’s Santhal Pargana region was reviewed by the Jharkhand High Court today.

RANCHI – A Public Interest Litigation (PIL) concerning Bangladeshi infiltration and land encroachment in Jharkhand’s Santhal Pargana region was reviewed by the Jharkhand High Court today.

During the hearing, the court instructed the state government to exercise caution in light of the recent coup in Bangladesh.

The court also directed the Intelligence Bureau (IB) to submit a sealed report.

The case was heard by a division bench comprising Chief Justice and Justice Sujit Narayan Prasad.

Further proceedings in this case are scheduled for August 22.
