Tata Workers Union Honors Late VP Treta Singh’s Death Anniversary

Condolence meeting held; biography released as union leaders pay tribute

Tata Workers Union commemorated Late Treta Singh’s death anniversary with a condolence meeting and biography release.

JAMSHEDPUR – The Tata Workers Union organized a condolence meeting to mark the death anniversary of Late Treta Singh, former Vice President.

The event took place on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at 5:00 pm in the Tata Workers Union premises.

Attendees offered flowers and prayed for the peace of Late Treta Singh’s soul.

Sanjeev Kumar Chaudhary, President of the Tata Workers Union, published a biography of Late Treta Singh during the ceremony.

Jaydev Upadhyay, Director of the Michael John Center, and Dr. M.S. Singh, Union Office Associate, provided detailed information about Singh’s life and contributions.

They highlighted Singh’s leadership qualities and inspired attendees to emulate his dedication and values.

Key figures attending the meeting included Co-President Shailesh Kumar Singh, Vice President Sanjay Kumar Singh, Rajiv Kumar Chaudhary, and Assistant Secretary Shyam Babu.

Incharge Dharamvir Kumar Singh, various members of the Tata Workers Union Executive Committee, and union employees were also present.

The event concluded with a two-minute silence in honor of Late Treta Singh’s memory and contributions.

Competition winners were announced for different groups, with Class III, Kashyap Fatima, and Ananya Pandey securing first positions in their respective categories.

Class I and Class II took second and third places in Group A, while Priyanka Kumari and Aliya Ahmed won second and third in Group B.

In Group D, Pratishtha Sharma and Aashiq Sharma secured second and third positions, respectively.
