JAMSHEDPUR – Gulmohur High School has unveiled Project Diksha, an innovative peer mentorship program designed to foster leadership skills and enhance educational experiences for its students.
Senior students from classes 9 to 12 will mentor younger peers, offering guidance for inter-school competitions and beyond.
The program integrates digital technology and personalized learning to boost critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Project Diksha kicked off with workshops during the Thursday Activity Class for students in classes 6, 7, and 8.
Various school clubs organized activities, including HTML webpage design by the Computer Club and cinematography basics from the Photography Club.
The English Editorial Club focused on building confidence through editorial skills.
Students engaged in creating teaching aids for primary classes with the Art & Craft Club.
The Young Chef Club offered culinary skills and healthy cooking lessons.
Dramatics Club activities aimed at overcoming stage fright and enhancing mental agility.
The initiative, led by Gargi Mukherjee and Indrani Tiwary, seeks to develop leadership qualities in both mentees and mentors.
