JAMSHEDPUR – Meena Lal, Tata Steel’s Chief Legal Officer for Industrial and Litigation, will retire on September 1 after a distinguished career spanning nearly 34 years.

Following her retirement, Kanchinadham Parvatheesam, the company’s secretary, will assume the roles of Chief Legal Officer for Corporate and Compliance in addition to his current position.

Parvatheesam, an IL-2 level officer, will start his new responsibilities from September 1.

Under his leadership, Chief Legal Officers Vikas Mittal, Alok Kumar, Manish Bhatnagar, Principal Legal Counsel Gyanendra Karan, Himanshu Tyagi, Shilpi Chattopadhyay, Sandesh Suresh Kshirsagar, and Debraj Hazra will report to him.

Meena Lal has been a prominent figure in the legal field, overseeing numerous legal matters for Tata Steel.
