Bangabhashi Samiti Organizes Mesmerizing Tribute to Poet Guru Rabindranath Tagore
The Galudih Ancholik ground reverberated with the soulful melodies of Rabindra Sangeet as the Banga community paid homage to the legendary poet Guru Rabindranath Tagore on his birth anniversary.
JAMSHEDPUR – On Wednesday, the Galudih Ancholik ground was drenched in the enchanting tunes of Rabindra Sangeet as the Banga community celebrated the birth anniversary of the revered poet Guru Rabindranath Tagore.
The event, organized by the Galudih Bangabhashi Samiti, featured a lineup of talented artists who rendered Tagore’s timeless compositions.
Mintu Kumar, Rupa Halder, Manas Das, Malay Chatterjee, Annapurna Singh, Pratibha Singh, and Sudeep Dutta mesmerized the audience with their soulful renditions of Rabindra Sangeet.
The program showcased a diverse selection of Tagore’s songs, including "The sky is full of sun and stars," "Aaj zoro zoro muro bado daye," "Shravner Gagner gay," and "Himer ratte oi Gagner."
In addition to the musical performances, Alisha Dutta, Ishani Dutta, and Tanisha Dutta captivated the audience with their graceful dance performances, adding a visual element to the tribute.
Maheshwar Dutta skillfully conducted the stage, ensuring a seamless flow of the program.
