An elderly worker, Khemlal Nishad, aged 75 and a resident of Golmuri Tuiladungri, died due to electrocution at the Golmuri Police Center on Sunday.

JAMSHEDPUR – Khemlal Nishad, a 75-year-old worker from Golmuri Tuiladungri, was electrocuted at the Golmuri Police Center on Sunday.

On Monday, former BJP district president Dinesh Kumar visited the grieving family to offer condolences and support during this difficult time.

At the site, Dinesh Kumar contacted Jamshedpur Senior Superintendent of Police Kaushal Kishore and Deputy Superintendent of Police Sudhir Kumar via phone, requesting government compensation for the deceased’s family.

He explained that Khemlal Nishad was the sole breadwinner for his family, and his untimely death would lead to financial hardships for his wife, daughter, and other dependents.

Dinesh Kumar urged that the family be provided with appropriate compensation under government provisions without delay.

SSP Kaushal Kishore assured that a written recommendation for compensation would be sent to the District Commissioner and that all possible efforts would be made in this regard.

Dinesh Kumar also appealed to the SSP and the District Commissioner to take immediate departmental action considering the sensitivity of the case and to ensure the maximum compensation amount is provided to the family.

Since the incident, the family of Khemlal Nishad has been in deep mourning.
