JAMSHEDPUR – The winning teams from the JRD Tata Inter School Quiz competition were treated to a thrilling helicopter ride over the city on Saturday.

The aerial tour, courtesy of Tata Steel, celebrated the intellectual prowess of the top-performing students from the recent quiz event.

Daksh Jain and Shreyash Raj of Loyola School, who clinched the top spot, joined runners-up Samparna Das and Ankit Upadhyay from Rajendra Vidyalaya for this unique experience.

The quiz, marking JRD Tata’s 120th birth anniversary, saw participation from 235 students representing 25 local schools.

Held at the Michael John Auditorium, the event tested participants’ knowledge on various subjects, including the life and achievements of JRD Tata.

Former Tata Steel executive and philanthropist Rupa Mahanty graced the occasion as the chief guest, presenting awards to the winning teams.

Deepak Kamath, CEO of Tata Steel Support Services, took on the role of quizmaster, guiding participants through the intellectual challenge.

"The enthusiasm and knowledge displayed by these young minds are truly inspiring," remarked a Tata Steel representative present at the event.

The competition’s results saw Loyola School securing the top position, followed by Rajendra Vidyalaya and Kerala Public School, Kadma.

This unique reward of a helicopter ride not only celebrated the students’ success but also offered them a bird’s-eye view of their beloved city.

The event showcased Jamshedpur’s commitment to fostering intellectual growth and honoring the legacy of one of India’s greatest industrialists.

As the helicopter soared over the city, it symbolized the heights these young minds could reach through knowledge and determination.
