Human Trafficker with 6 Children Arrested at Tatanagar Railway Station

A man from Malda, West Bengal, was arrested at Tatanagar railway station with six minor children, suspected of trafficking them to Delhi.
JAMSHEDPUR – A resident of Nazaruddin Tola in Malda, West Bengal, was apprehended at Tatanagar railway station with six minor children, allegedly trafficking them to Delhi for work.
Police sources confirmed that an individual from Malda, West Bengal, was detained at Tatanagar railway station while traveling with six minors.
The Railway Protection Force (RPF) intercepted the suspect, who was en route to Delhi.
The minors are believed to have been trafficked for labor.
Following the RPF’s intervention, the suspect was handed over to the Government Railway Police (GRP) in Tatanagar.
A case has been registered against the accused under section 143 of the Indian Penal Code.
Authorities are currently questioning the suspect to uncover the extent of his trafficking activities.
It has been reported that the man traveled with the children on multiple trains to avoid detection.
“The suspect had already changed trains several times to evade suspicion but was ultimately caught by the alert RPF personnel at Tatanagar,” stated an RPF officer.
The police are working to gather more information on how many children have been trafficked by the suspect.
