Unsafe Train Travel Practices Continue in Tatanagar Despite Warnings
Repeated incidents highlight ongoing safety risks for passengers.
Despite numerous warnings and enforcement actions, unsafe train travel practices persist among passengers passing through Tatanagar.
JAMSHEDPUR – There was a very sad incident in Adityapur, where a person lost their life and another person got hurt because of an accident with a traction wire at a train door. This incident highlights the ongoing safety concerns for people who travel by train.
The Railway Protection Force (RPF), Government Railway Police (GRP), and Railways have consistently warned against engaging in unsafe practices.
Some examples of unsafe behavior include standing at train doors, trying to get on trains that are already moving, and holding onto doors and windows.
Even though fines and enforcement actions are in place, many passengers still choose to engage in these risky behaviors.
Officials from the RPF want to make it clear that they have imposed fines on people who have been caught traveling in an unsafe manner.
We have ongoing campaigns in place to educate and discourage such behaviors in the future.
Nevertheless, the fact that these risky practices continue to exist emphasizes the importance of ongoing awareness and stronger enforcement measures in order to safeguard the safety of passengers.
