Health Minister Banna Gupta Inaugurates Development Projects in Jamshedpur

40 schemes worth Rs. 5.81 crore launched under AMRUT 2.0 mission

Projects aim to enhance civic amenities, road infrastructure, and community facilities

JAMSHEDPUR – Health and Disaster Management Minister Banna Gupta laid the foundation stones for multiple development projects in Jamshedpur on Wednesday.

The initiatives, funded under the AMRUT 2.0 (Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation) mission, have a total estimated cost of Rs. 5,81,17,178.

Key details of the projects:

1. Civic amenities: 15 schemes worth Rs. 2,25,73,641

2. Road transport: 24 schemes worth Rs. 2,87,53,168

3. AMRUT 2.0: 1 scheme worth Rs. 67,90,369

Major projects include:

– Construction of community buildings

– Beautification of existing community centers

– Development of Chhath Ghats

– Pond construction

– Road building and drainage works

"Development work has never stopped and will continue unabated," Minister Gupta stated while addressing the media.

He emphasized his personal commitment to addressing local issues, saying, "I regularly inspect neighborhoods and societies in my constituency, meeting people and trying to solve problems on the spot."

The minister expressed hope that these projects would ensure continuous progress in the region.

Several local political leaders and party workers attended the foundation-laying ceremony.

This initiative demonstrates the government’s focus on improving urban infrastructure and community facilities in Jamshedpur.
