Jamshedpur: Health Fair and Awareness Drive Held on World Population Day

District officials launch awareness campaign from Sadar Hospital.

A health fair and awareness program were organized at Sadar Hospital in Khasmahal to mark World Population Day.

JAMSHEDPUR – The Sadar Hospital in Khasmahal recently organized an awareness program and family health fair to commemorate World Population Day.

An event took place at the hospital premises where a mobile awareness unit was officially started by District Council Vice President Pankaj Sinha and Civil Surgeon Dr. Jujhar Manjhi.

This program is designed to educate people living in cities about population control by conducting door-to-door campaigns.

We also organized street plays to raise awareness about the issues caused by population growth and the advantages of implementing control measures.

During the health fair, Dr. Jujhar Manjhi mentioned that they organized several activities to encourage family planning.

The targets for family planning set by the state government were also shared with the attendees during the event.

The event was attended by the PSI City Manager, healthcare workers, public representatives, and other officials.

These efforts are part of a larger initiative aimed at achieving the family planning goals established by the state.
