Mango Area in Shock: Unidentified Body Discovered by Jamshedpur’s Swarnrekha River Ghat

Shocking discovery of a half-burnt body near Jamshedpur’s Swarnrekha River Ghat under Mango police station, triggering a full-scale murder investigation.

JAMSHEDPUR – A half-burnt body was recovered on the banks of the Jamshedpur Workers College river under Mango police station territory on Tuesday morning.

The deceased, a young man estimated to be around 35 years old, showed signs of being murdered before being set ablaze, presumably to obliterate evidence.

A strong kerosene odor was detected from the corpse, indicating the use of accelerants.

Local residents, including Durga Singh, reported the gruesome find to the police after a crowd gathered at the river bank.

The identity of the victim remains unknown as of now.

Police have launched a full-scale investigation into the incident.

A wave of shock and concern swept through the area following the discovery of the body near Workers College, Swarnrekha River Ghat.

News of the body spread rapidly, drawing a large crowd to the site.

Residents of the Mango fishing colony, who frequent the river ghat for daily activities, first noticed the body hidden in the bushes.

Mango police have taken custody of the body, sent it for postmortem, and are rigorously probing the case to ascertain the cause of death and the victim’s identity.
