JAMSHEDPUR – The Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industry organized an important meeting on Thursday, July 11, 2024, with senior officials from Tata Steel Utilities and Infrastructure Services Limited (TSUISL).

Rituraj Sinha, who is the Managing Director of TSUISL, recently spoke at the Chamber Hall in Bistupur. He was joined by other senior executives as they addressed a gathering of local business leaders and entrepreneurs.

The discussion revolved around the basic amenities in Jamshedpur, making the city more beautiful, ensuring a steady power supply to industrial units, and discussing the priorities of JUSCO.

The guests were welcomed by Chamber President Vijay Anand Moonka, who emphasized the significant role of TSUISL in the development of Jamshedpur into a city with all the necessary facilities.

Key issues raised by the Chamber included:

1. Road repairs and infrastructure improvements across the city

2. Uninterrupted power supply to industrial areas

3. Water supply and quality concerns

4. Vendor registration processes and payment of pending dues to contractors

Sinha responded by assuring that TSUISL is prioritizing civic amenities in Jamshedpur, emphasizing the need for public cooperation.

He addressed specific concerns, noting that water supply to Dobo Hurlung is currently not feasible, while electricity supply is under consideration.

The Power Supply Division’s Senior General Manager outlined plans for electricity provision in Adityapur, projecting for the next decade to better serve industrial units.

This meeting underscores the ongoing dialogue between city utilities and the business community to enhance Jamshedpur’s infrastructure and livability.
